The Cliff House is a cottage located on a cliff in Muskoka Lakes, Ontario, Canada. Altius Architecture have designed the cliff house well so that becomes a steadily stand house on a cliff with awesome surrounding view.

The designer used local granite to form base of the cliff house on the rocky area. The circulation of the air and light also has been thought well so that it becomes a dwelling with fantastic landscape. Then, the cliff house is now a comfortable living space for a family of four to have their daily activities.

Besides, the cliff house was also designed to be energy sufficient. Solar system has been well installed to catch the sunlight and use the energy for daily needs including for heater. Furthermore, the cliff house is also completed by multifunctional windows; to give the clear panoramic view for the interior as well as the natural ventilation in summer. Green roofs are also applied to keep stable the temperature of the cliff house. Meanwhile, some LED lighting is used to save more energy.
