Ko Bogen Building 1

Kö-Bogen Building is a kind of house used for work office and retail space. Design by Libeskind, this Kö-Boge construction is located in the downtown of Dusseldorf. He laid the stainless steel foundation stone in the building façade with the Mayor Dirk Elbers, the investor Kurt Zech, and the project developer Stefan H. Muehling.

This design of the building is the combination of up town and park area. This is reflected in the curved and straight geometry design. The city is represented by the straight line on the Koeningsalle and the curved line about the Ko-Bogen’s building courtyard is meant to represent the pedestrian environment.

The green area can be seen in the frontage, the green yard, and the green roof system. This building has a link to the Central Park. The architect of the building also made integrated space and it is sheltered by one continues roof that used for walking, shopping, and working.
