British architects and interior designers Jestico + Whiles have completed the conversion of an abandoned building in Berlin, Germany into the Andel’s Hotel.

With a total of 557 rooms, a large conference centre, ballroom and a sky bar on the 14th floor of the 60-meter hotel tower, offering panorama views over Berlin, the Andel’s Hotel is sure to make a statement for itself as one of the most attractive events and conference location. The building, originally designed by Studio Aldo Rossi as the mixed use ‘Landsberger Arkaden’ on Landsberger Allee, had stood unfinished and empty for a decade and a half since the fall of The Wall. Its form is reminiscent of a classic four-sided castle enceinte, with a unique tower at each corner. Bedrooms in the wings have either a ‘city’ or ‘courtyard’ aspect, with special suites located in the towers. The vast lobby is a calm sea of white and stone, counter-pointed with flashes of acid colour with rich, tactile materials marking island lounge zones. The conferencing facilities, amongst the largest in Berlin, accommodate a 600 sqm ballroom and a 20000 sq ft exhibition hall as well as meeting rooms. The sky bar, in the crown of the tallest corner tower, has 360-degree views of the city.

Luxury Contemporary Property Interior Design Wall Glass With Stunning LA Views

8444 Harold Way is seemingly a normal property from the front, with no distinguishing features or tell tale signs of what lies inside. However upon entering the property opens up to reveal a luxury interior with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for stunning city views. The modern sunset strip property, designed by the Russell group and Palumbo Design, is labeled as a “dream bachelor house” and we have to agree. Meticulous design fused with luxury finishes and a unique garage/parking space directly in your living room adds to this James Bond style home. The home is currently for sale via Mauricio Umansky.

Crestron cinema room with 90” screen and Dolby Digital surround sound.

Finchatton, London’s most prestigious developers, has fully remodelled this traditional brick and render four-storey townhouse into an exceptional four-bedroom, four-bathroom house. The outcome is a property with an understated, worldly sophisticated and timeless elegance. This typical Belgravia townhouse unites the best facets of period architecture with the highest contemporary standards. At Chester Row Finchatton has created a property where natural light permeates from roofline to lower ground floor, thanks to glass walls, a floating staircase, strategically placed double height mirrors and subtle chrome detailing. Combined, these create vertical and horizontal vistas throughout the property. The colour palette evolves from the simplest black and white basis and relies on natural textures and materials. Solid fumed oak flooring, stained walnut joinery and wrought iron balustrades contrast with honed Crema Marfil and Carrara marble flooring, sumptuous deep pile 100% wool ivory carpeting, limestone fireplaces and stone paving. Additions of colour and texture in the soft furnishings, such as green and black check, modern rose prints and beautiful damask avoid a monochromatic sterility and ensure the property is oriented to the future in terms of progressions in interior design.
