Patricia Urquiola architects Spanish is responsible for the interior design of the recently opened Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona
In keeping with Mandarin Oriental’s passion for working with creative and exciting design concepts, the prestigious Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola was commissioned to create the interior décor of Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona. The project reflects the open, cosmopolitan character of the great Mediterranean city where the hotel stands, along with the unmistakeable seal of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The linear simplicity of the building, which was once the head offices of a bank, lends itself perfectly to the clean, balanced interior design by Urquiola.

Jaime Hayon inspired by classic circus element, it’s an ultra modern shop interior with fantastic color combination.Camper store the new shop in Tokyo designed, The result is cool space that invites people to dream, the stunning entrance door with organic shape and the handle shaped like a candy cane. The product display layout is look so minimalist but it has a great placement, give the elegant touch at this clothing shop. Camper store interior is so beautiful, suitable with youth spirit. Visit the camper store website here.

For starters, there are no corners, only curved forms. There is an interesting contrast between the walls covered in Bisazza mosaic tiles, perfect and delicate, and the cement floor, basic and unfinished. The long, narrow centre table resembles a centipede. The coloured mirrors placed on the ceiling elongate perspective and give the store added warmth. These small touches of quality do not go unnoticed. The special areas are separated by bevelled glass panels reminiscent of cut gemstones. Colour filters create a magical transparency. The shop is fresh and elegant. Architect/source: Hayon Studio. Please check Full Photo..

Natural Wood Home on the ocean – is this only a dream?

Sandwiched between the forest and the sea, Sea Ranch home by San Francisco-based Turnbull Griffin Haesloop Architects is an uncomplicated beauty through and through. But the architects have pulled off minimalism with such flair that it’s what really sets this modern home apart.

“The clients wanted an understated, flowing house that captured their love of Japanese simplicity” according to the architect. “Our solution starts with a vernacular barn form and carves away to shape an exterior octagonal deck that opens to the meadow and the view.”

Made almost entirely of wood, this rustic ranch home features wide windows that welcome the breathtaking Pacific Ocean views. Natural light fills interiors, which boast ceilings finished in rich cedar with exposed beams, complemented by the cool, sheetrock walls, achieving the rural, minimalist appeal.
