Here are some pictures again the lighting designer Bruce Munro’s completion of the Field of Light installation at the Eden Project in Cornwall, England. Lighting installation is located on the roof of grass iconic visitor center, ‘that was made from acrylic rod 6000, through fiber optic cable that runs, each crowned with a clear glass globe. It will remain there until the spring of 2009. Eden Project is a visitor attraction, including the world’s largest greenhouse, designed by Nicholas Grimshaw architect.

Three Level Green House for Three Family Generations

This house Designed by Berkley-based McGlashan Architecture is located on a beautiful hillside in Marin Country, near San Francisco. Its form and color are inspired by the hillside landscape. It has three levels and three generations of an extended family live there.

Roofs of all three levels are planted with drought resistant and native gardens. Besides that it is super insulated and designed for passive solar conditioning. With the solar panel array, it is also designed for a net-zero energy footprint. Thanks to generous decks, window walls, and big openings the house is very wheel connected to the outdoors.

The Glenwood Residence in Dallas, Texas by Wernerfield Architects

This house glenwood designed by Wernerfield to follow the natural site topography, one descends into the courtyard through a steel gate and series of stone walls that run the width of the site and divide public and private space.

Sited around the main natural feature, a massive oak, the home is designed to sit quietly within its surroundings. From the street, the second story office and guest room are pushed to the rear of the site and obscured by this oak to reduce the overall scale of the home. A natural, yet minimal material palette constructed with rigorous and exacting detail also make the home feel both inviting and modern.

House KvD is located in the woods of Teteringen, close to Breda. Important, from the residents point of view, was to experience the green environment in a most intense way. This ambition has formed the main concept of the building: A house that feeds in between the trees, giving every arbitrary movement a surprising perspective on the forest. The square-shaped volume keeps you, while moving through the building, in constant contact with the environment.
