This is the Bellevue Club, a social and fitness club and hotel, located in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle designed by Baylis Architects.

The Bellevue Club project is an expansion and renovation that provided space for fitness amenities, an expanded library, converted sport courts and exterior site enhancements.

The architecture is covered with a wall in which holes are cut. The shape of the holes resembles a trunk, leaves, a root and bulbs. It also can be seen as clouds floating over the trees. Concrete shape which is based on nature turns into a hollow cave, light, and sunbeams filtered through trees.

Timber decked terraces either side of the living area provide outdoor seating options for different wind directions. The sheltered rear courtyard, framed by the building, large water tanks and timber screens focuses on a wood fired pizza oven.

Gartner Trovato Architects have recently completed luxury home design in Bayview, NSW, Australia.

Bayview House Design by Gartner Trovato

The house is located on a 1,200m2 block of land with a significant fall from the street. The site is oddly shaped with its longest boundaries running east-west allowing for orientation to the north with magnificent views over Pittwater and surrounding area.
