London-based design company Objekt Incorporated has sent us Baba Lounger.  Made of stainless steel and tube frame and equipped with individual suede pillow fabric, this design does not require striking simple hand tools to assemble.  Extruded high density foam cushion core provides a firm seat and long lasting which is very convenient.  (more…)

Essentia Designs has completed the office interior to Dentsu London. This building is an award winning development by Amanda Levete Dentsu where teams have been baptized into “outer space” (Tokyo HQ is the parent of this!). Our brief is to create interiors that sympathetic to the curvaceous exterior of the building and provide an environment of high-tech Japanese minimalism in which they can create magic for their future. In addition to the main studio space agencies there is a need to include space for Attik, a multi-award winning institution associated branding and function of the head of the European office. From a strategic perspective, the space on the penthouse floor of the main conference room providing an ideal and consequently we located the main reception area on the 5th floor to simplify the way clients and provide space for Dentsu Europe.   (more…)

Interior Design Multi Color ROBERT Restaurant unveils for its clientele an expansive view of Columbus Circle, Central Park, Broadway and Central Park West, hidden for decades since the closure of Huntington Hartford’s museum. Celebratory, sexy and romantic, designed to allow for conversation, patrons may dine sitting on sofas in the central lounge area, or be seated at the windows to enjoy the views.

Lighting is designed by San Francisco based architect Johanna Grawunder. Grawunder’s two installations are Cherry Blossom; a mobile-like chandelier installation of LED lit lucite panels and Tangerines; a series of suspended orange lucite boxes along the windowed perimeter.

The intent of the Punk Rock Suite was to create a London-style, punk rock party suite. Bands of recessed mirrors and hand-painted lines in every direction, hand-painted wall murals, and spot lighting on the walls and ceiling pack the room with movement and action. Stone-like grey wall tiles, black hardwood floors, custom modern furniture and a custom, hand-made Union Jack rug complete the London underground feel.

As part of Hard Rock Las Vegas’ resort-wide remodel, Las Vegas design firm Chemical Spaces was commissioned to design several one-of-a-kind pool suites intended to accommodate VIP guests of the resort. Local designer Mark Tracy, Chemical Spaces’ owner and principal design consultant, designed and oversaw installation of the individual suites. The suites were designed with the intent to cater to Hard Rock’s young, hip, and music-oriented guests. With each suite boasting a unique theme/motif, the suites each walk out to the newly-designed Hard Rock pool and bring a new element to the Hard Rock resort.
