American interior designer Jamie Herzlinger has completed a project she designed called The Enclave. there are so many creative products, initiatives and enterprises to draw attention to, make combination with the client’s lifestyle made this project very exciting and unique.Within the box of space that previously evaporated the entrance, dining room, hallways, and living room,  make each of those public areas very dramatic by the controlled use of the bead blasted steel and poured terrazzo floors that had zinc screeds inlayed for a distinct separation. A house is the work of Kanner Architects in the hills of Oakland, California. Description of Kanner Architects: Located in Oakland, California, in the down-sloping site high above the bay of San Francisco, this house is designed to capture the magnificent view stretching from the Gulf of Bright to the Golden Gate Bridge. Floor to ceiling glass clean way for unobstructed views. Especially the south-west orientation of the power required overhang to reduce glare and soften the light quality at home.

Here is Mt. Baker house of neighborhood Seattle, was built as a speculative project and was the first house in a planned development of five houses. The area is a veritable catalog of the styles that have influenced Seattle residential architecture for 100 years, with many classic craftsman houses in the mix. The neighborhood accommodates all of these styles gracefully because of a shared sense of scale and relationship to the street.

The house as an infill project that respects those attributes and borrows from tradition while expressing a more modern aesthetic. The use of hardipanel, aluminum windows, steel and fir handrails, modern lighting and vivid colors bring the house unequivocally into the present, but the attention to detail, the expression of separate materials and the clarity of the construction reflect its traditional roots.

Marcus O’Reilly Architects has carefully designed a low key, site responsive beach house in Sorrento on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in Australia. The timber clad structure reinterprets a longstanding beach house tradition in the area. It uses local materials to blend into, respect and compliment it’s sought after, national park adjacent location.

The site, which has been in the owner’s family for more than fifty years, is heavily populated with eucalyptus trees which grow out of the rolling sand dunes of the area. Floating green stained cedar volumes and bleached timbers visually respond to the Eucalyptus canopies. The volumes step up the sand dune allowing it to be virtually undisturbed as it rises to the rear of the site. The front volume is anchored to the ground by canted sandstone walls lending a sense of gravitas to the otherwise light wood framed structure.
