Modern Wood House Design – M + M2 House in Los Angeles

Modern Wood House Design – M + M2 House in Los Angeles. Designed by Klaus Matuschka this modern wood house is located near Los Angeles. It is surrounded by a lot of trees like oaks and cinnamon. Thanks to that the house is hidden on a small site among them even though it’s located on the highest position.

The ground floor is made of reinforced concrete and steel while the second floor mostly done in timber. The first floor consist of public areas while bedrooms and other private space on the second one. There are several terraces around the house and one of them developed especially for barbecue. This home is a perfect modern dot in the middle of a beautiful nature.

In the Laurentians, a dense forest on a small hill, going down to the extension of a small river. The trees, black body of the building divided into three groups connected by glass corridors.

Three blocks of the house, the average level of each other, are all in direct contact with the soil. Three blocks from the authenticity of the proximity between the bid and has the open character:

* Message Block, open on two levels and also the young and the family’s fourth
* Day Block, main hall, a friendly, open terrace
* Private Block, Owners Suite, separate from the rest of the house

Clean House Design that Maximize Natural Light in Seattle, Washington

This is a clean town house is situated in a narrow road thirty-five feet high in Seattle, Washington. The main materials used in construction is cedar and fiber cement panels. It is designed to maximize access to natural light and views still preserve privacy. Because of the small site has three floors and a terrace on the roof.

Population areas are located on the ground floor, private rooms on the second floor and shared the position of the third. Layout is linear, so that all floors are very efficient layout.
